Soft furnishings are an essential part of any interior design, adding colour, texture, detail and comfort to the room. Here at House of Brotherhood we like to think of furnishings as the icing on the cake to any well designed space.
At House of Brotherhood we design and make all of our beautiful, hand finished cushions, curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings entirely in-house. By keeping everything from design through to the final stich within our own studio means that we are able to please our clients with high quality and beautiful bespoke furnishings again and again.

Just because you can't find it, doesn't mean you shouldn't have it! From Headboards to ottomans we welcome all manner of enquiries and love to be challenged when creating bespoke or unusual items and spaces, such as cosy window seats and snugs.
In the last few years we have seen a big trend in customers wanting to bring the comfort and beauty of our furnishings to their outside spaces. We are used to working with interior and exterior fabrics, so why not have House of Brotherhood create the perfect outside space to relax and entertain comfortably in?
Expert Restorations
We love renewing older furniture, not only is it so much better for the environment but we find the quality of older furniture is not easily replicated in a modern, fast fashion world. Using traditional and modern techniques, we have lovingly repaired and recovered all manner of treasured interior and exterior pieces of furniture.
Whatever we are restoring, be it an arm chair or the interior of a classic campervan, our aim remains the same: To breathe new life into it, whilst retaining it's characteristics, quality and original beauty.
There is a misconception that re-upholstery can be hugely expensive but we find time and time again that we pleasantly surprise clients with how cost effective reupholstery can actually be, for example a simple footstool can be given that whole new lease of life for under £30.
We upholster to very high standards and have gained a reputation we are very proud of. To maintain our high standards we only take a select number of restoration projects on each year. If you have a project in mind we would always recommend getting in touch as early as you can to avoid disappointment.
